Congratulations to the Midkota Speech Team on an AMAZING tournament. Midkota hosted 9 area schools on Saturday and scored a total of 48 points as a team! Individual results are as follows:
Dexter Leister tied for Top Novice in Inform.
Grandin Black placed 7th in Humorous Duo, 5th in Humorous, and 7th in Inform.
Kelsey Johnson took 7th in Humorous Duo and 1st in Humorous.
Amy Ramsey placed 5th in EPR, 2nd in Humorous, and 2nd in Storytelling, Qualifying for State!
Rounding out the Midkota team for the home meet were Haylie Spickler, Trinity Smith, Jace Boote, and Kade Halvorson. Thanks for a great day!


Track practice on Tuesday will be an optional outdoor practice at GCC starting at 3:35pm. There will be a practice bus going to Cooperstown if needed. Track practice will also be optional on Friday starting at 9am, there will NOT be a practice bus. Have a great week! https://5il.co/2gbrj


Midkota music students will be heading to Carrington next week Tuesday, March 12th for the Large Group Music Contest. Our band performs at 2pm and choir at 3pm. Good Luck!


The Midkota Speech team competed at the Carrington Speech Meet last Saturday. Team members included: Amy Ramsey, Trinity Smith, Haylie Spickler, Kelsey Johnson, and Grandin Black. Trinity took home 8th place in Dramatic and the Serious Duo of Spickler and Johnson also took 8th place. Thank you, Trinity, for accepting awards on everyone's behalf. ;)

There will be a track bus today and tomorrow going to GCC for practice. It will leave at 2:45pm both days. The kids are able to stay at school today until the bus arrives. If you have any questions, please call Charla at the HS office, 785-2126. Have a great day!

Just a reminder that Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for tomorrow, Feb. 29th at the High School in Glenfield from 2 to 8 PM. Students will be dismissed at 1:30 PM. Come on out and spend Leap Day with us! :)

Kelsey Johnson and Amy Ramsey competed at the May-Port CG Speech Meet on Saturday. Amy placed 6th in EPR and 2nd in Storytelling. Congratulations ladies on another successful tournament!
