Kindergarten students and their fifth grade helpers helped us EXPLODE into Reading Month with their volcano projects they have been working on. The current top reader in each class also got to try some neat Bernoulli effect balloons out. It's going to be a great month!

Congratulations to the Midkota Speech Team on their excellent results at the Hatton-Northwood meet on Saturday, February 22nd. Heidi Ramsey was the Top Novice in Dramatic Interpretation along with a 7th place finish for her Serious Duo with Amy Ramsey. Amy also took 4th place in Storytelling. Grandin Black took 5th in Persuade and had a 1st Place finish in Radio Broadcasting, qualifying him for state competition in Mandan. Congratulations competitors!

Good morning, Midkota! Congratulations to our GBB team on their win last night against Nelson County which granted them a berth into the Region 2 Tournament. And also Congratulations to Kelsey Johnson on making the All District Team.
Tonight's BBB game against Napoleon will be in Gackle starting at 6pm with the JV followed by the Varsity. The boys will close out their regular season games on Friday in Cooperstown against Midway/Minto starting at 4pm with the 7th grade followed by C, JV and Varsity.
