Midkota Public School Update

Today we held a special school board meeting to discuss some current pandemic issues facing the school. There has been some changes in the policies and guidelines from the state health department, and the Midkota Smart Restart Committee met last night to adjust our plans accordingly. Changes to our plan approved by our school board this morning are as follows. In phase Green Level B, masks will be required to be worn in classroom group work. The movement from Green Level B Phase to Yellow Phase will be made by administration in coordination with the local health department. And finally, in Phase Yellow face coverings will be required according to ND State and local health guidelines. Currently approved face coverings include face masks and cloth face coverings and does not apply to face shields or neck gaiters.
As of today, Wednesday, October 28th, 2020, Midkota Public Schools Elementary and High School will move to Phase Yellow of our Smart Restart Plan. Special Board Meeting
It’s District 5 Volleyball Tournament Time!! Your G-M Titans will take on the Ellendale Cardinals at 7:00pm this Thursday (October 29th) in the GCC Gymnasium. In addition to the two spectator tickets given to each athlete, extra tickets are available to fans by calling the high school office starting at 12:30 today! The game will be streamed on the Midkota School Activities Youtube channel as well. The dress up theme for the night will be Black and Blue! Get ready to cheer on the Titans to victory!
We are still in need of one more line judge for tonight's contest. If you want free admittance and a front row seat, please call and talk to Mr. Danielson at the High School!
We have a few extra tickets available for tonight's 7, C, JV, V volleyball contests at Midkota Elementary vs New Rockford/Sheyenne. Please call the high school office to request one. We will attempt to live stream the game on Midkota School Facebook. GO TITANS!

Good morning, Midkota! Tickets for tonight's volleyball game against Kidder County at GCC are available by calling the high school office. Games will begin at 4:30pm with the 8th grade playing 2 games followed by the JV and Varsity teams. See below for event information and recommendations. Go Titans!
Academic and CTE Scholarship Facebook Live Event
Jim Upgren will be conducting a Facebook Live event on the North Dakota Academic and CTE
Scholarship on Thursday, December 3 at 7:30 PM Central Time for students and parents. Jim will be
answering questions that students and parents might have throughout and after the presentation. To
