December 7th-11th is worldwide coding week. Today Ms. Larson's 4th graders spent an hour of coding to celebrate the weeklong coding celebration. The fourth graders code almost daily, and they do an amazing job. I love this day every year the kiddos get so excited 🙂

Midkota extended day families who are enrolled for the before or after school program are invited to a family night next week on December 17th. We will begin the family night activities at 5:30 pm and end the festivities at 6:30 pm.
Your whole family is invited to attend and try a few STEAM activities and get a glimpse of what we do in our extended day program.
Please make sure to wear masks and we will social-distance. I will set up activities, so they are spread out, so everyone gets an opportunity to try something out. I hope to see you all there. Thank you, Ms., Larson

Here's an awesome opportunity for our students!

Good morning everyone! Just a reminder that if you bought Papa Murphy's pizzas from our Close up students, they need to be placed in your freezer if you do not plan to eat them within the first few hours of receiving them. If you do have to freeze them, please allow them to thaw before baking them to deliciousness!
Thank you all for your continued support of our Midkota students and their activities. It is greatly appreciated!

Yesterday at the Elementary school we had the privilege to watch the theater group perform a dress rehearsal of their production of "The Internet is a Dist-Oh Look, A Kitten!" They did a wonderful job under Mrs. Topp's direction. The students and staff all enjoyed the performance. If you get the opportunity to take in this show, you don't want to miss it!
